28th November had my first sked with Joel on 50.193 at 03:48 UTC to 05:10 UTC
Although neither of us had any solid decodes during the sked period, I had two consecutive RX periods with DF's of 8 & 9 with signal levels at -33db around 04:35 and Joel feels he might have started to see me at 04:40 when our beams were both at 6 and 7 degrees to the Moon. Joel also reported strong Trade-winds with Electrical noise during the sked. We have arrange 3 skeds for December 15th, 25th & 26th.
But all failed, until Boxing Day 26th!

I took the first period on 50.193 at 02:46, with both of us sending calls, I decoded Joel first at 03:05 a fantastic signal of -25db receiving his calls which meant he had not heard me yet. I replied at 03:08 with OOO's which Joel received on the second period at 03:10 at -30db, he then sent RO's at 03:11, I received these on Joel's 3rd period at 03:15 at -29db, I then sent RRR's at 03:16 which Joel received at -29db at 03:16, and again at 03:24 at -27db. A completed QSO.

Joel's single 6 element 6m beam can be seen at the top of his tower. This was Joel's first 6m EME contact with another single yagi station. Below the 6m beam is his TH7DX, and at the base of his tower are the 4x 13 element 2m EME beams.
